Upstate New York bed and breakfast in Columbia County NY, Thyme in the Country

From NYS Thruway

  • Take Exit 21 (Catskill/Cairo Rte 23) off the NYS Thruway I-87
  • Go through toll and turn left at light
  • Move into left lane; go approx 1/2 mile (under Rte 23 Bridge)
  • Turn Left onto Rte 23 East ramp
  • Follow Rte 23 across Rip Van Winkle Bridge (toll)
  • Continue east on Rt 23 to first traffic light (Rte 9) (5 ½ miles total on Rte 23)
  • Turn left at light onto Rte 9
  • Follow Rte 9 to County Garage and row houses on the right (3mi APPROX)
  • Turn right immediately after row houses onto Ten Broeck Lane
  • Go past cemetery and straight through blinking light to stop sign
  • Turn right onto Columbia Street (Rte 66) and go straight through first traffic light
  • Follow Rte 66 past one additional traffic light and up hill
  • Turn right at top of hill onto Columbia County 18 (Fish & Game Rd) (1 ½ miles total on Rte 66)
  • Follow Fish & Game Rd straight across Rte 9-H (at traffic light)
  • Our driveway is on the left, 2.1 miles from the 9-H traffic light

From Interstate 90 Albany (West)

  • Get off I-90 at the Hudson exit #12
  • At end of ramp turn right on Rte 9
  • Go 3.2 miles
  • Get on Rte 9H south follow it for approximately 12.8 miles
  • At the intersection of Route 9H and County Rte 18 or Fish and Game Road there is a light, take a left on to Fish and Game Road
  • Follow it for 2.2 miles. Thyme in The Country is on your left - #671 Fish and Game Road

From Interstate 90 (East Boston)

  • Get off I 90 at Exit B2 and continue on the Taconic State Parkway south for 16 miles
  • Get off at Exit for Philmont/ Harlemville Rte 217
  • Take a left at end of exit ramp onto Rte 217
  • Follow Rte 217 for 4 miles. Fish and Game Road or (County Rte 18) is on your Right
  • Follow Fish and Game Rd for .6 miles
  • Thyme in The Country is on your right - # 671 Fish and Game Road.

From the Taconic Parkway 

  • Get off the Taconic at the Rte 217 Philmont/ Harlemville Exit
  • Take a left at end of exit ramp onto Rte 217 and follow Rte 217 for 4 miles
  • Fish and Game Road or (County Rte 18) is on your right. Follow Fish and Game Rd for .6 miles
  • Thyme in The Country is on your right - # 671 Fish and Game Road.
