Experience
the community spirit and traditions of our county…………
Columbia
county is nestled between the Hudson River and the Berkshire
Mountains in upstate New York. As a county, it
is well known for its open spaces and agricultural heritage. This
fertile valley is home to farmlands, orchards, wineries
and is renowned for its scenic beauty and rural charm. Much
of New York State’s and America’s history
had it foundations along the Hudson River. Eighteen towns,
four villages, and one City make up our county and create
focal points for a sense of community rich in culture
and history.
Our objective is to help you savor the sights and sounds
of this area and interact with the local network of people
dedicated to creating a sustainable community.
